Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.)
Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) is taught in the local intermediate schools. Students learn the harmful effects of drug abuse and are taught positive strategies to deal with peer pressure and social situations that may present difficult choices. D.A.R.E. is taught by a trained instructor provided by the Mooresville Police Department in cooperation with the Mooresville Graded School District.
