Planning
The Planning side of the Development Services Department is located on the first floor of Town Hall, 413 N Main Street. Our goal is to help guide orderly growth and development within the Town of Mooresville, always with an eye toward the future. We are responsible for long range and short term planning for transportation, land use and zoning as well as code enforcement, community development, annexation and the Land Development process. Planning staff also serve as liaisons to several volunteer advisory boards.
We can assist with issues such as sign regulations, code enforcement and nuisances, building additions, land subdivision, zoning applications and rezoning property for new development.
