Town Manager Resigns
The Town Board of Commissioners accepted the resignation of Town Manager Steve Husemann, effective January 9, 2011, and appointed Assistant Town Manager Erskine Smith to serve as Interim Town Manager.
Community Worked Together for $10,000 Grant

The Mooresville Public Library now offers the Mango Languages online language learning system free to all library patrons.
Town Announces Water Restrictions
Effective Sunday, October 10 at 12:01 a.m., the Town will begin a Stage II Water Conservation Alert. During this stage, it is unlawful for water users to sprinkler irrigate residential lawns, shrubbery and trees EXCEPT between the hours of 7-11 a.m. or 6-9 p.m.
Iredell County Special Needs Registry
Iredell County now has a Special Needs Registry available for people who need special assistance during a local disaster. The Registry provides important information to emergency responders during a 911 call or local disaster.
