Duke Energy - Right of Way Work
During March, Duke Energy is doing right of way work around their distribution electrical lines in Southern Iredell County and the Mooresville/Brawley School Road area from the substation to beyond The Point, Yacht Road, Torrence Chapel, Stonemarker Road and Tuskarora Trail.
Golf Tournaments
Groups wanting to schedule a golf tournament or outing at the Mooresville Golf Course during the 2011 golf season can make reservations now for any spring, summer and fall dates. Call the Pro Shop at 704-663-2539 or stop by the course and ask for Charlie, Jeremy or Rob.
Citizens Police Academy
Mooresville residents or business owners who are at least 18 years old are invited to participate in the Mooresville Police Department’s Citizens Police Academy. The next session begins on Tuesday, March 1at 6:30 p.m. and will meet on consecutive Tuesday nights from 6:30 – 9:30 p.m. at the police department.
Register Online for Recreation Programs
The Town’s Recreation Department now offers online registration for many of their sports programs. Registration for youth t-ball, baseball and softball began February 1 and ends at 5 p.m. on February 28.
MI-Connection Announces Second Quarter Numbers
On January 28, MI-Connection's General Manager Alan Hall presented a financial report to the MI-Connection Board of Directors which showed second quarter numbers with an increase in revenues and cash flow and a decrease in expenses over previous year.
