Mooresville Recreation Department offers after-school activities for children in Kindergarten - Sixth Grade from 2:30 - 6 p.m. at the War Memorial Building. Cost is $25/ week and registration is required. For more informa¬tion, call 704-663-2670.

Electronics Ban

The Town can no longer collect electronics (computers, televisions, laptops, monitors, printers, etc.) curbside because of Senate Bill 887 - Electronics Ban. These items were banned from NC landfills because of toxic materials used to manufacture them. Residents can take these items (and any item with an electrical cord) to the Iredell County Transfer Station for recycling. There is no fee.

Iredell Avenue Sidewalk Project

Crews are constructing a sidewalk on Iredell Avenue from Broad Street to Highway 150. The project is scheduled for completion in September.

McNeely Street Construction

McNeely Street will be closed to through traffic from North Main Street to Oak Street for a waterline replacement project.
