The Town can no longer collect electronics (computers, televisions, laptops, monitors, printers, etc.) curbside because of Senate Bill 887 - Electronics Ban. These items were banned from NC landfills because of toxic materials used to manufacture them. Residents can take these items (and any item with an electrical cord) to the Iredell County Transfer Station for recycling. There is no fee.
Crews are constructing a sidewalk on Iredell Avenue from Broad Street to Highway 150. The project is scheduled for completion in September.
McNeely Street will be closed to through traffic from North Main Street to Oak Street for a waterline replacement project.
