Town Receives Communication Award for Recycling

Carolina Recycling Association recently presented its 2012 “Sensational Education & Outreach Award” to the Town of Mooresville for its consumer education campaign on recycling.

The award recognizes a program that has excelled in educating the community about waste reduction and recycling. The award announcement stated “Effective programs reach a diverse audience, motivate the community and use creative or innovative methods to get their word out.”
