Officials Encourage Residents to Seek Information
The Town of Mooresville encourages area residents to remain calm and seek information amid the fears that are spreading due to the crisis in Japan. “Iredell County and the Town of Mooresville have an emergency operations plan that dictates our response if there is a nuclear emergency,” said Fire Chief Wes Greene. “There is a lot of anxiety right now so I want to reassure our citizens there is no cause for alarm.”
