Mooresville Fire & Rescue Receives STAR Safety Award

On Wednesday, August 18, NC Commissioner of Labor Cherie K. Berry will present Mooresville Fire & Rescue with the Carolina STAR designation.

The program recognizes work sites that are self-sufficient in their ability to control hazards at the work site. The five elements of the STAR program are Management Commitment, Employee Involvement, Worksite Analysis, Hazard Recognition & Prevention, and Safety & Health Training.
